Corporate Underwriter II

  • This position reports to the Underwriting Manager. The Underwriter II is responsible for providing consistency in credit quality and decisions, process flow, and customer service (both internal and external).
  • Qualifications: 
  • -DE Required
  • -At least 5 years' underwriting experience
  • -Excellent understanding of investor, agency and government guidelines
  • -Excellent understanding of Silverton's internal policy and procedures
  • -College degree preferred but not required

Corporate Processor

  • The Corporate Processor will report directly to the Corporate Operations Manager while working in conjunction with assigned Branch Manager(s) or Mortgage Loan Originators and will be responsible for various duties relating to the processing of residential mortgage loans. 

  • Qualifications: 
  • -Proficient with DU and LP
  • -At least 3 years' processing experience
  • -Familiar with FHA, VA, USDA and conventional products

Underwriter II

  • This position reports to the Underwriting Manager. The Underwriter II is responsible for providing consistency in credit quality and decisions, process flow, and customer service (both internal and external).

General Processor

  • The General Processor will report directly to their Branch Manager while working in conjunction with assigned Mortgage Loan Originators and Corporate Underwriting Coordinators and will be responsible for various duties relating to the processing of residential mortgage loans.  This is a full-time, on site position at one of Silverton's branches in the Atlanta Metro area.

 

  • Qualifications: 
  • -Proficient with DU and LP
  • -At least 3 years' processing experience
  • -Familiar with FHA, VA, USDA and conventional products

Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Assistant

  • The Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Assistant reports directly to the assigned Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) and may also be required to report to the Branch Manager.  The MLO Assistant is responsible for providing ongoing and consistent support to the sales process as well as excellent communication with internal and external customers. 

 

  • Qualifications:
  • - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the mortgage industry
  • - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • - Understanding of mortgage industry guidelines and regulations
